DinoWorks' Protoceratops Skeleton

The Protoceratops, which means "early horned face," lived between 75 and 85 million years ago. She grew to the size of a Saint Bernard dog, and was a relative of the much larger and better-known Triceratops.

Protoceratops (pronounced pro-toe-SAIR-a tops) has the same neck frill as the Triceratops, but not the long horns on its face. The first fossilized dinosaur eggs ever found belong to "Proto." DinoWorks' full-sized model stands 28 inches high, 66 inches long, and weighs 9 lbs. She comes with 50 pieces and a base, as well as a clutch of four "eggs"! Instructions and a teacher's activity guide are included.
